Analysed 21 Oct 2026, 10:56 PM IST
★★★★☆ 4.0 / 5

Why 4.0/5? (stars grade the EDGE — per-trade expectancy, consistency, drawdown — not the headline return)

  • ✓ Strong per-trade edge: +0.36R expectancy across 13,425 trades
  • ✓ Convex payoff 3.3 — winners far bigger than losers
  • ✕ Only 32% of trades win — the rare big winners must keep showing up
  • ✕ 5 of 9 tested years were negative (2018, 2019, 2022, 2025) — the edge is regime-dependent
  • ✕ Max drawdown -32% on the ₹2L portfolio — the compounded return came with deep pain along the way

People need to to hear this because this is why people are just I think [ __ ] it up sometimes in the order flow. Yeah. >> They just they see the delta, they see the bubbles. Hey, why doesn't it work? And then they got absorbed. It's [music] going to be effort versus result. And this is like the biggest game changer. If you start thinking like that instead of just treating the result as something magical, you got to understand what was the intention behind it. >> Darius Kellerman. You probably haven't heard his name before, but he's quickly becoming one of the most respected upandcoming traders in the industry. He's accumulated over $1.5 million in verified payouts and even turned a $3,000 account into $109,000 in under three months. And he attributes all of this success to one single order flow strategy. >> Yeah. So once we break through this, we're going to have an extreme acceleration to the next liquidity pool, which on the profile chart is going to be a point of control. But there is a cool hack with the TPO cuz you will see these low volume nodes more precise than you could ever do with the volume profiles. And I don't need to use any other time frames. In this episode, Darius breaks down how he combines order flow, volume profile, TPO, and auction market theory to consistently identify reliable trading opportunities, revealing his exact entry and exit criteria, confirmation signals, and the critical lessons that transformed him from a struggling trader into seven figures in payouts. Now, let's see what Darius is made of. Now, Darius, you have $1.5 million in verified payouts, and I want to see exactly what your edge is on the chart, what strategy you apply. But before we get to the chart, I want to go on the whiteboard real quick and look at a more simplified version of your model so the audience knows exactly what you're looking for when we get onto the software side of things. >> All right, let's go. So, the framework I'm using is context, location, and confirmation. So, we're going to start with the first one. It's very important that we go over each one of it and that we're treating it at the same basis. So, none of this is going to like be more relevant than the other one because everything needs to be on point to understand where we are in the market to fully take advantage of the current market situation. So, what is context? Context is basically like a higher time frame to lower time frame analysis. So instead of using multiple time frames hoping that you will see the lines aligning, I'm using the TPO and the volume profile. For everyone who doesn't know what a TPO is because volume profile is a little bit more popular right now and many people know that it's like the money indicator. It's tracking all of the effort from the institutions. But a TPO is basically a more older model which is tracking the time price opportunity. So where price has spent time and the volume profile shows you the effort behind it. So it's exactly the framework that I'm using on all of these three things is going to be effort versus result. And this is like the biggest game changer if you start thinking like that instead of just treating the result as something magical. You got to understand what was the intention behind it. >> So what are the two main concepts we can use here? Basically, you have volume profiles or TPO and they're going to look like very very similar, which can look something like this. This is basically a balanced market. When you look at this, the TPO will very often show you the same thing. But what you will see better with the TPO is going to be the low volume notes. >> And what makes this balanced? >> It makes it balanced because the price right here is spending time in between. So if you look at a price chart, it's going to look something like this. >> Of course, you will have something like this, something like this. But the majority of the volume is in between. And that's what we have here. >> It's all concentrated in one area. >> Exactly. So we have here like the value area high and here the value area low. And the market is like staying here in between that range. And what we try to identify is if the market is currently in the balanced state or if it might be in the imbalanced state. >> What is the imbalanced state? Well, this is basically when we look right at this volume profile and we look a little bit more on the detail that we see, it can look something like this. >> Which means in this area right here, the market was in an imbalance phase, which means lower volume. And therefore it's it's a sign that one side of the market was more aggressive. So in this case if the story is that the price went up higher previously here balance and then it's moving up higher. This means that the buy side was more aggressive >> and these areas are going to be called low volume node. Mhm. >> So the framework I'm looking is to understand first of all where we are right and we will see them better better in the charts with the TPO because it's hard to to to draw it because at the end it's very similar but there is a cool hack with the TPO because you will see these low volume nodes more precise than you could ever do it with the volume profile >> and it's at the end an addition so it's like real effort real result and I don't need to use any other time frames. >> Okay. >> All right. So when we're looking at the market, we need to understand these levels and for the context, I'm also looking then at the heat map the same time. This is like my trick that I figured out because every single time when you have low volume nodes or and this is like very crazy to observe and this is what you see then on the volume profile you will see some pointer controls on the lower volume nodes but still you got to look at the market like this. You have volume nodes. >> Some are smaller, some are bigger. So like this one is very big. You have a point of control here. You have a point of control here. And you have like multiply small ones. So your job as a trader in the context phase is to understand which one of these pointer controls >> are relevant. >> And the way to get it is basically through the heat map because it's level two data. All right. So with the level two data, what we're going to do is we're going to see if there is actual interest at those levels because otherwise we're just going to assume just because in the past something happened and in the past we've tracked that it was a level which buyers and sellers wanted to engage into or they did if they will further do it. >> So for this we are looking at this and we try to overlay that. So we're overlaying the low volume node aspect with the pointer control >> and we try to see on the heat map if this level is good. >> Okay. >> And that is going to define for me then if this level is something interesting. So let's assume on the heat map here low volume node it's going to align with this point of control. We have a heat map liquidity here. Let's say we will see like 40 contracts or something like that. Something more than average. It's always important to put it in relation. So our job is going to be if the price is currently here and we assume that the price is going to drop and we will see this then the price can reach and go to it. >> So we need to pre-plan everything and we're not just going to plan it on one side. We plan it on both sides >> because we're not guessing here. We're just looking and reacting. So maybe right here at the top you will see something similar a smaller low volume node and then also a point of control right there. And very often you will see that exactly there you will have the heat map level and the mark is going to go there. So I'm going to mark up this and I have like two targets and we're like in between of it. >> And now we're going to go to the next one which is going to be the location. Step number two. So the location is going to tell us if we are even like able to look at a trade. You should not just trade for instance here. This is the battleground. This is where buyers and sellers are fighting. You will see big trades everywhere, very big one. And people are like, "Oh, that's absorption. I'm gonna take the trades." That's why so many people are failing with the order flow. They think just because someone big entered and he got absorbed eventually or she or the the like had has the acceptance, this is the entry model to take. No, you got to be at the right location. What is a right location? It's always the same. val area high, vala low, >> or it could also be a point of control. >> That's exactly what we marked up right now in this case, the point of control as our target because we don't want to like exit randomly. We want to exit at an area where we might be looking for it. And a trick I'm using also there because we're at the location. We're not going to treat it like to the tick. We're gonna make this box bigger, you know? So if the price comes there, we have a realistic chance of getting out because if we are in the trade, we want to actually earn it and we're not going to give it back to the market. >> Got it? >> So what can be right now a good location for executing if the price is in a balance? Now I'm trading gold. Gold is like not crazy volatile. Not all the time. It's very often balance and that means a lot of observation needed. So you observe and wait for the right moment. And the right moment would be if I have these targets that the price is going to break the value area high or it's going to break the value area low. So basically leaving the balance phase moving into the imbalance phase. >> Then important is to see also do you have any other m majority of liquidity against you because you need to then define if the breakout happened and for this we're going to go over the confirmation. So step number three, the confirmation. And for this one, I'm using a couple of things honestly. And this this can get a little bit overwhelming for people who are starting with forflow, but even for the more advanced ones because you need to keep track of it. That's why I'm using like three monitors to have all the information. And I'm not missing on anything because one small mistake might cost you the whole trade. Yeah. And the idea for everything is to actually not accept a losing trade. What do I mean with that? The framework I'm building on is not something that gives you like an advantage in terms of the statistics because if you follow just statistical analysis like for instance the opening range breakout you are going to lose for effect like there's 100% you're going to lose like probably tomorrow. So you are happy waking up and because the statistics are against you that day you're going to lose with my framework. I'm not trying to get there. I'm trying to actually understand what the market has to do. And this means patience first, following everything and if you still take the loss, then I made the mistake. >> And this system allows me to understand if I'm getting better in trading or not. So for me every loss it's my fault 100%. I'm not going to blame the market for it. Of course there are situations where market are not optimum which means you're going to have many many obstacles against you. So like I'm presenting here these zones I'm targeting. It could be that we're just like 20 ticks away from it. >> Yeah. >> So you got to decide is it really worth it to risk your money for these trades. This is why we're going to skip like a trade or two like a trading days because it's just not going to be optimum or the price is the entire time in a balance. despite having this huge advantage. So yeah, let's go to the confirmation now to see how we can look at it. And I'm looking here on something else on the volume profile as well, which is going to be the delta profile. >> Got it? >> The delta profile is basically showing you the aggression at a certain level. >> And what I'm looking is when the price is breaking out of the value at a higher low, >> people are always afraid of the fade auction. By the way, this is the liquidity sweep. Everyone is trading from the ICT space. I got to clarify I was trading the same kind of things but the moment I basically put on these things I know exactly where the price phase at this >> and the way I'm doing it is basically for instance with the delta. So if I have like the volume profile here on the side we're looking for extreme delta lines. So if the average is like some bearish delta here and then we have like the bullish delta, we might also have here something something bigger and then the smaller ones big here. Important is that you're looking at it at the edges. >> So something very aggressive at the edge like for instance this bearish delta down below. >> Yeah. >> If we can claim that level which means we're going to like invalidate the bullish delta, we're going to validate the selling delta, the market is going to drop. But that's not enough. We're going to use for the confirmation then the big trades. So I want to see the big big big bubbles. So for instance in this situation, we want to see like the seller stepping in and getting rewarded for it. And I'm looking also for absorption. So I want to have a combination of both of it because if I'm just using just the aggression and the acceptance of it, it could be that the fuel is over. So they're going lower, there's no liquidity. That's why price is dropping. But what can happen is that it's going to like come back and when it comes back the buyers can reclaim the area because it's value or a low it's in level where you see then on the delta well we've been buying here over and over again. You might see some bullish bubbles over here as well. So that's going to be a huge problem because it's going to like go against you. So you got to like then trade manage it effectively or you just basically accept the the the risk that you're taking at that day. But if you have all of these in common, then you have a high chance it's going to go lower. And now what we look also in this moment when you look to to confirm everything, we're going to look at the volume. The classic volume. Why the classic volume we're using here the volume to understand if there is a real intention behind it. Because if the volume is like very little like this, who cares, right? They're printing results for little volume. Yes, there's the concept of path of lease resistance, >> which means yes, they're producing the result for for for the drop, but we want to have the aggression as well. So, if we want to take a sell or a buy, whatever, we want to have aggression >> and otherwise it's not going to like go into this into discovery. This is the Mona thing, right? Everyone wants the Mona, so they're hitting the buys, hitting the buys until nobody's willing to to pay the price anymore. That's when the auction stops. >> Got it? So this is exactly the thing we look here. And then one last thing is the CVD divergence. CVD divergence can be something interesting. It's not always present in a way that people think it might be. It could be that you have a divergence or you have it like in com combination with the price. So for instance, if the CVD shows you this and the chart shows you the same, then it's aligning. And if for instance, it's a divergence. So the price in this case would make a higher high but the price is making lower lows. It's a divergence between price and the volume and therefore it's absorption and that's an additional confluence to do so. >> Ever thought about getting into prop trading? Perfect timing. Right now we have the perfect offer for you. You can grab a futures challenge or crypto challenge for just 9 bucks. Links in the description below. Now back to the video. >> Yeah. And that that's basically my entire framework I'm using on a daily basis. >> I love it. It was excellently explained. Now I'll ask a little bit more about the specifics while we're live trading and charting, but the overall framework itself is extremely elegant and beautifully explained. So Darius, if you don't mind, if we can go to the chart to >> start live trading. Now, Darius, I want to go over exactly what you're looking for on the chart and get more into the specifics of how you're actually finding a trigger and a good setup in the market itself. >> So, we're going to start again with step number one, which is going to be context. And by the way, this is the reason why most traders are getting it wrong because they cannot really see the effort behind the market. So like here this day honestly if I would start earlier here I would probably be messed up because it's a context where you can see on the volume profile it's balanced. >> Still there are market movements. So we have like a movement to the upside from here till here. So it's good would have been tradable in a way but also the movement from here till here. But with the context of a balanced market which means the market every single time it's approaching a value or a low and by the way this is changing it's dynamic. So it's always like snapping back >> to the point of control the true value of the asset at that one moment >> then again pushing away sellers taking control then the buyers and so on and so forth. This happens over and over again. So >> we need to understand this information right now in order to understand how we can form our next trade. Mhm. >> So remember when I said the context what we're looking is for the value area high or the value area low to get broken. I don't want to be involved in any of this because right here I will be just chopped. And the thing is I see this also like the statistical fact of it. It can work. So we can buy the value a low back to the point of control the value of a high back to the point of control or back to the opposite side but I will lose. Why? Because at some point the price is going to go in the breakout >> and that's my trick. I'm waiting for the breakout. That's my A+ setup. So that's why I need to bring a lot of patient for my trading because if that will not happen is just I would just probably put myself in a situation where I will lose more trades than I should >> and my goal is as I told you is to be right every day. So I know it's 100% my fault. I do need to apply it the right way. So let's go. So the context is we have a balanced market and we look at where price is right now >> and then we're going to co-check it with the TPO and the volume profile. So right here we can see a little bit of story. >> Yeah. >> Because we got to like go over this. That's very important. A story about what market did to see how is the auction unfolding. Is it bullish? Is it bearish or is it balanced? Because on a bigger picture right now if you go over the recent days and that's what I do every single time to kind of like understand who is in control. I see first of all here a market daily candle. This is the TPO. You see it looks very similar to the volume profile but very big in comparison. And that just shows me okay price spend a lot of time there. And then the moment it breaks out at the value area high. So right here boom >> that's the move. >> Got it. >> That's what I'm trying to catch. Not not that big obviously but that's kind of like the the the idea I have behind it. Okay. We have this move up then another day balancing at the top which means we're accepting new value. So previously the balance market was here now we go into the expansion into the price discovery chill there as well. So I see okay we are accepting this new price level. >> But now something very interesting is happening. The market tries again as we can see to go higher pushes above the high the liquidity sweep as we know from most ICT traders but how do they understand that this is going to be a sweep which is going to like bring price lower and where's the next target >> and that's why we use this in combination we can see price has spent time there at the top that's why what I see on the TPO better than on the volume profile >> because people will analyze this and will take it completely wrong. They will say, "Yeah, but the volume profile is so big there. This is not relevant." >> But for me, it's relevant because it shows me that they have spent time there and they failed. >> This is an extremely important distinction because here on the TPO, like you're saying, there was a significant amount of time spent up here. Just as much up here as down here. >> Exactly. >> But look at the volume profile. Proportionally this looks minute compared to where the higher volume activity took place. >> Exactly. >> Yeah. >> And honestly this is what changed for me my orderflow trading because I've used at the beginning also the volume profile. I'm like I don't get it why it works the way how it works sometimes. Right. >> But this extra layer just helped me a lot cuz now I can see this as a real failed auction. So I'm assuming price needs to drop. So this is exactly why on this day beautiful short opportunities would have been played out and price drops. All right. So we understand we have the market which failed at the top. There was effort and result there. They failed. So price is going to go down. And then look at this. What happens here the next day? It's like tapping into a low volume node, right? But could you see this on the volume profile perfectly? It's like yes there is one but if if we're honest there are like multiple low volume not you can pick from so I would be able to say yeah this is a point right we never can get there perfectly we have here something then you have like something eventually here and like many volume nodes in between and the tpo look at this how present this area is so I can just mark up that one and this one that's it have two zones >> when you think about it which makes trading much much easier so that's exactly just to like illustrate this. It was not a trade I took, but just to illustrate how beautiful it is to like also understand just the past because that's what I'm doing as well. Every day before I take a trade, I kind of like educate myself in a bit like remind myself about why these concepts work the way and how they work and just like get this feeling of it. That's why you need to spend a little bit time as well even before trading to familiarize yourself about how is the auction actually moving at that day. So you see this is the move down that we had and how the price then on the next day tapped into it and then we have this beautiful move down to target the lows where you also have a low volume node on this side of things. Right. And again we have something like a fade auction because it's like >> coming back. >> Yeah. >> But still the price spend a lot of time there. So it's like um it could still continue. It's like a new valley area down below. That's why the contination could take place. So let's just go finally to the point to see what we should do at this day now like how should we approach this one or how I approach it at the end. So we are in an area right now in the location after this drop lower and the price currently you see it's it's like going through the result going through the value low and you got to think right now okay are we in the discovery or not >> and on the day we aren't >> absolutely not we're in the balance but you see that the result of the TPO is shifting lower and it kind of like found some form of resistance right here again something I can see from my point of view only on the TPO it's like my real fair value gaps >> so I used to use to trade fab gaps exactly like in a similar way like I do it now but with the TPO and I don't need to like mess up with hundreds of time frames hoping that this time the one hour chart will show me the Feb gap I just see there and then I pair it with the other things so now that we understand the overall context of the things we got to like frame our idea where press could go. Now what is very hard for me for instance to simulate right now and that's why orderflow from my point of view is very hard to even teach but also to to learn it is because how do you want to learn the level two data right now the the awareness of it like how they play with you. Yeah >> because here on this case we would have had some uh heap of liquidity down below up there. So you like forms scenarios. So the way how I explain the theory. So one scenario will be the low volume node here. Scenario will be to see price coming down lower. But we cannot actually see this right now when we try to back test right. This is just like very complicated to like use multiple software. >> You're going to waste so much time which is why you should do it kind of like live very often for yourself to like to get it because it's like also there is like this um they can play with you right. They they can open up a huge pool of liquidity. >> Who's they? >> They the the big guys, okay? Those ones with the big money. Those ones were actually moving it, right? But they don't care about your stop loss. They're they're basically just uh trying to attract market to go there because there's liquidity, but they could can just spoof away, >> right? Spoofing. So, you need to to learn to play with this because it's a little bit like poker, right? >> It could be a bluff. So, you need to know how do you deal with that? like when is it valid or not? And that's why my system is to to understand it on the profile chart >> the the best way possible where it could go and to see if they're playing with us or not. >> Got it. >> All right. So in this case location what is going to be for the breakout for a discovery the value area low right here right or the value area high right there. And we're going to look for the delta levels to see if these delta zones uh are present. So what I'm marking up is then for instance in this case I see here a huge delta. >> Yeah. >> So once we break through this we're going to have an extreme acceleration to the next liquidity pool which on the profile chart is going to be a point of control. And I like to use the point of control of the volume profile not the one from the TPO because the TPO is not going to be accurate. That's why we need both of it. So this can be like one target of it. But that's why heat map is going to be important here to see where price could go next. >> And now we also look a little bit at the price, right? You see I haven't really added so much about the price analysis into this because price is just does it go up or down. That's it. Yeah. >> And you want to see if the effort is behind it with the bubbles. >> So right now this day was also special because we had news. So when when it comes to news, you you can like um you can have like a good day where it's presenting the setup perfectly or you're just not going to take it because it's just way too risky. It's just going to like go too fast. So you you want to like know uh what you're doing in that that moment. So >> if we now look at the market, I'm going to like let the market run. I can see already that the sellers are trying but they they're not really rewarding, right? So they tried they try >> they're trying at this level that you pointed out the red line. >> No no they've yeah here they tried. >> The thing is when they've tried and the price goes the other way around people say it's absorption. True. So you could have trade that but what I'm looking for is if the price returns to it the sellers are going to reload. Yeah. >> And with the delta we know the aggression is there. We know the the the bubbles are there. So we close through is going to shoot. >> Got it. And the bubbles are just um big orders. >> Exactly. Okay. So the aggressive guys who are just >> Yeah. >> Oops. >> This is what happened yesterday. This was the news event. So it was not a good idea to like position yourself right in this moment >> cuz you're just going to to basically gamble a bit. Yeah. Even though you say it's gonna go bearish, it's always you got to think in possibilities. >> Got it? >> So, I'm just gonna like simulate this one. Um, just to show you how I took the trade. >> Um, so what I'm doing when you have a news event, right? And I have this bias. You see that the price luckily spiked back up, which means we could still get a good entry on this. >> So, let's see how it's closing now. Now, it closed. And we see we closed through the things I mentioned. >> Yeah. >> So now it all comes down to two things. If you should still take this trade or not because as you can see it reacted at our level. >> Yeah. >> If you still have heat map liquidity down below, you could still go and try the the short. >> That's exactly what I've done because we've had here liquidity down below. It was very low and very big one and it it starts to appear intraday. So the heat map is very cool to use intraday to see what's going on there. >> So what I've done is basically once the market returned to the levels of the bubbles because they've been here still successful because the candle closed through them. >> So I was basically just entering at that moment. >> Got it. >> Okay. Now with three contracts that would be crazy. I was like using like half of a contract and then you go and put your stop higher. Right. You're going to use a volume profile for this to to measure the effort that you have right there. So you can position yourself here the way and how you want. >> So this is a volume profile of this specific candle. >> Exactly. >> And you're using this to position your stop. >> Exactly. >> Okay. Got it. >> Cuz this is going to tell me, okay, where is the effort? Where is the result of this? >> And we try to like go then. And the riskreward I'm I'm typically aiming is like either a 1.5 or a 1 to2 riskreward. >> Okay. depends on how you want to approach the the prop firms. >> Now, excuse me. On this volume profile for the candle. >> Yeah. What piece of that volume profile are you looking at to say, "Okay, here's where my stop goes." >> Yeah. I'm going to put it above high volume because you have here in this case, if you look at this entire thing, almost no volume right here. And the fact that we basically dropped through everything. So, it's a successful price discovery. Yeah. I'm not going to put my stop here. >> Okay, >> that would be stupid. That that's what what what most traders do who don't see the information. If I put it here, okay, it's still okay. But you try to like uh avoid the the the the losing period. You try to put it there where if the price is claiming this level, it's going to basically shoot up. >> Okay. So, >> yeah, >> you can just try to be as careful as you want. This is a little bit like a personal thing. So, if you're someone who who is just getting into it, you try to like get consistent, use a little bit bigger stop because at the end it's not going to hurt you. Um, but if you try to go into the optimization to like really pull out a lot of money, you got to like be very very good at this. Ju >> just to be clear, this is the volume profile of this candle, right? Yeah. >> And you said you want to put it >> Oh, whoops. In a high volume above high volume. >> Exactly. >> Okay. So this is like a low volume node on its own. >> Exactly. >> Right. And if price does get into there, you would expect it to just shoot through. >> Exactly. So if it comes there, there's going to be like a battle. And then again, I would not just like take the trades because you need to have absorption and aggression. So if that will take place, yes, you can like switch your bias and take them the buys. But that's why I would put the stop exactly there. >> Okay. And then what was your reward? Risk-to-reward >> 1.5 to one to two. >> So the target is comes based on where your stop is. Then you do >> Yeah, like this. And it needs to be in alignment with the heat map liquidity. Got it. Because then I'm not just guessing where it goes. And and and if it's just going to be at that day 1.4 or 1.3 or 2.1, I don't care. I'm going to take what the market can provide me. Got it. >> And I'm going to like even take out partials if needed. So if I feel like uncomfortable because there's a level that you can see buyers are stepping in, you can like take out a part of it. So you're like not um losing the profits. So yeah, it all depends on the scenarios how how good the scenario is and like I said, every day is going to be different. So there are days where it's obvious what the market can do and you're positioning yourself in a good position so you can let the trade run. Otherwise, sometimes it's just very smart to like take a partial out of it, move stop to break even, and if it gets stops, you have to rethink everything if you just like give it another shot. >> So, let me ask you one more question then, Darius. What exactly was the trigger here again? Just to be clear. >> All right. So, the trigger here was that the price closed through the bearish delta and prints result below the aggression of the sellers. >> Okay. So, price broke through the bearish delta. That's the red line. >> Exactly. >> And that came from which profile? from the uh daily profile at that day. >> Daily profile. So that was like a >> strong bearish delta balance level. >> You see this one? >> Yeah. Got it. >> Okay. >> So it it shows that they got aggressive there. So once we close through it now, this is a news event uh as well. >> Yeah. So but it doesn't matter. It could just be like a small minute one as well which is just closing through it and we want to have volume on it and we have volume on our side here. >> So that's the thing. You see it on the CVD. You see the same thing. You see that they they are building basically result for it and right here before right we can also like always I try to analyze what's happening we have a divergence as well so this can also like play in our cards >> so yeah >> so so then we close below it and there are bubbles there do we need to see those >> yeah so the the bubbles is like it's not always relevant to have the bubbles because the the bubbles are like uh showing me the aggression >> so if I have like in this case bubbles right here and we closed through it. I know that sellers stepped into and I I know they stepped in at the top as well. So I'm using them like a in a form of a market structure like supporting uh the the the price delivery and uh if now in this case it's not going to pop up >> uh it would not be as bad but it really depends because normally if this is not a news event it would almost 100% pop up because it's a delta level so they they will participate again. >> Yeah. So that's like an extra confirmation and in this case >> people will assume it's absorption because oh yeah these ones here they don't have the result. >> Yeah but it's not like that because these ones with 235 are printing a lot. These ones are exactly there. So a pullback will happen of course >> but how far and that's where we use the volume profile to see where do we position ourselves strategically so we're like not getting stopped out in this game. >> Got it. And last question then. So there were times where price dipped below this red level earlier. >> Yeah. >> But maybe at the time there wasn't a strong bearish delta imbalance, right? Maybe that formed during all this price action. >> So assuming let's just say there was already that strong bearish delta imbalance and price dipped below right here, right below the red line and we have bubbles etc. this would not have been a trade. >> Okay, let me explain you this one. It's a good question because this is exactly what people get wrong as well, I guess. >> So, you have right now here for instance, if we if we simulate what happened here. Yes, the delta was there. >> Yep. >> It was not as big. Yeah, >> but the delta was there. You see that sellers step in, buyers step in, sellers step in. And this is in this case not a close through it. >> Let me just clarify for anyone who doesn't understand. Red bubbles strong sell orders. >> Exactly. green bubble strong buy order. >> Exactly. >> Okay. >> So, in this case, we need to like really look at it in the sense of did they successfully claimed the bearish delta level? >> Mhm. >> No. >> Yeah. >> Because it's like the the buyers are are basically having the result result for it. >> Yeah. >> You have bearish volume and bullish candle which is kind of like the definition of absorption in this case. Mhm. >> Now it's still a you can say a more bearish auction but we are still at the value low. So we should not forget that this is a zone the buyers love to buy because they consider it a good price. >> Yeah. >> So the price is now pushing higher right and then right the next moment it finally close through what we just seen >> through the level. >> That was awesome. Um so we closed you through the bearish but what is right now here the problem with the situation >> you need to have a clean break through the bubble as well right so this candle and this is a little bit something I took from the price action world and you need to add the layer of auction market theory now to it you see price drops >> but it's not a follow through >> the next candle drops through it but has absorption in it Got it? >> So this is the problem with it. >> And then another trick, you use a volume profile and you want to see are there buyers involving in this movement because this can like help you to see okay will they will they reclaim it. So one more time we look at the delta here. So this this gives right now very in depth but I think people need to to hear this because this is why people are just I think [ __ ] it up sometimes in the order flow. >> Yeah. >> They just they see the delta, they see the bubbles, hey why doesn't it work? And then they got absorbed. >> Got it? >> You see the market moving down, you see another bearish delta. And while you're in this critical phase right now where in reality volume is dropping as you can see here, it means balancing. This balance phase right now >> is like another value area you can say. And now it's all about will we get the continuation lower >> or will we go back into its true value. So back to the point of control. And that's exactly what happened. So the the bearish delta here you see we tap into it we reject it. So the sellers are trying trying trying the print result here. But look at this bullish volume right there. So this bearish candle that one which basically closed through this bearish delta that we have here. Let me just mark it up. This one here. >> Yeah. >> This is not a confirmation because you have right now the level is sellers stepping in. >> You have here the aggressive guys. Yeah. You assume at this level that they're going to reload and they're not reloading. >> Yeah, >> that's the problem. That's absorption and the price goes up. >> Got it? >> That's why it's a failed auction. >> Okay, >> this like a very granular level we just went over and you see it happens again. I mark up this level >> like there's exactly the level in the middle. Boom. >> One more time, the buyers are absorbing the sellers. >> Yeah. >> And they try. I mean, it's not that they don't try, but they fail at it. >> Yeah. And then it's like the market is breathing now because it's bringing it back up. >> And then you see the intention again of the sellers and now we closed through it. And that's like how you >> put everything together and you're like, "Okay, now the sellers are there." Because it's the it's basically the discovery we're in. Everyone right now is battling for bringing the price down. And if you're too late, you're going to miss out on it. Got it? >> And it's just because we're right now out of this balance. Let me just delete this. Is so messy otherwise. It's it's it's it's it needs to go to the next liquidity. So, we need to find that one next liquidity where it is. >> Got it. So, to be clear then after this candle it basically everything you just explained this candle satisfied all your conditions. >> Exactly. >> You get in at the close >> on a market order. >> Yeah. Uh I always do a tip. Sell the ask or buy the bits. >> Okay. >> Because especially during a news event, if you sell market, you might be opening up some >> gonna get Yeah, it's not going to be good. So, so it can happen that you're you're you're selling the bottom and the price is moving 100 ticks above you and then yeah, it could even stop you up because you need to also like follow your risk management of the rules and everything. So, >> yeah, >> it would just not make sense. >> Okay, so let's check this out then. >> All right, let's go. So, you see it's like a battle that you you see right now. So, it's not that the buyers are not trying, you know, like they're going to try. And the cool thing is to see when they're getting absorbed. So, like this one, right? This is a very good thing right now because here are the sellers. So you can look at it always as a level. It's not it's not like a level or a box whatever you have here. One you cannot really see this but it's smaller. It's not as relevant. Important for me would be right now to see what is happening right now here to see hey is my trade even confirmed. >> Yeah. >> And that's that's like an A+ thing right now that just happened. Yeah. So honestly I just took it earlier because I've seen the conditions being there but you will always have chances later on. Mhm. >> Maybe sometimes even better chances. It will all depend on the situation. And then look at this bullish volume, right? Bearish candle, >> bearish big bubbles, bullish big bubbles, and the result is underneath that. So you have everything you need right now. It's like everything screams it's going to drop. >> Got it? >> And it could drop any time. But don't rely on that. Just >> hold on your plan, right? You could start to like trail everything in a moment like this, right? But now you see sellers slight absorption, right? But if they pull down below, it's going to like go lower. Okay, result for the sellers. It's good. Look, they tap into this bubble. >> Mhm. >> And you see magically they reload. That's a cool thing to always see. They're reloading at these levels. And even right now, if it's it would push higher. I don't know if it does it, but if it does, >> don't be scared because it's a breathe in, breathe out. Always like this. It's market goes in waves. Yeah. Yeah, >> always have this in mind because people are like I got to take out like this that like oh my god the get absorbed oh my god oh my god going crazy yeah if you don't feel well right trade management it's because your risk is too high that's why you're not feeling well in this or you got to win a competition then you start to like also go crazy >> yeah that's a common excuse in in my world yeah >> so yeah if you want to prove something it's crazy then you got to sweat >> anyways that's how you can like hold on to it Now, I don't have the heat map here. Uh I don't know right now how far it drops, but it's going to drop to the next levels. So, like the point of control here. >> Nice. There would be a potential target. >> Exactly. So, that's like how we set it up in this case. So, with one contract, you see, you can do a lot. That's why I'm not using a full contract, but for the replay mode, I cannot go right now for the MGC, which is usually what I do. And the next thing, which is cool, also in situations like this, you can start small, right? You don't need to be correct about your first entry. Yeah, >> you can start a little bit smaller and then basically adding to the position once you have the confirmation. So like like what I told you right now, this was my trigger. >> Mhm. >> This was the one when I should have scaled in, right? That's what I did for instance uh on on this particular trading day. I entered like with half a contract added then two MGC to it, right? Had like more exposure and uh at the end you have a similar entry but you get the confirmation which is the the benefit of this. >> Yep. Got it. Well, Darius, thank you so much for coming on. Very well explained. Even I understand it. So, great job, man. Thank you so much for having me, man. >> IQ Capital, you can start your first challenge for as little as nine bucks.
