★☆☆☆☆ 1.0 / 5

Why 1.0/5? (stars grade the EDGE — per-trade expectancy, consistency, drawdown — not the headline return)

  • Negative expectancy: -0.24R per trade across 28,458 trades
  • Payoff 0.60 — the average winner is SMALLER than the average loser
  • 9 of 9 tested years were negative (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) — the edge is regime-dependent

Verdict

Auto-backtested. AI-decoded: Price breaks a prior high on HTF, then retest on LTF at fair-value-gap level; mechanical prior-level revisit setup. We isolated the one mechanical claim — a day-of-week bias where a prior session's level is expected to be 'revisited'/swept — and traded it short across 159 large/mid-caps with real costs: 28,458 trades, win 49%, expectancy -0.24R/trade (avg -0.24%/trade).

The result is a high win-rate that still loses money after costs — a negative-skew mirage: small targets, larger adverse moves. A directional lean can be statistically real yet still fail to pay once you attach a target, a stop and costs.

Mechanically decoded and scored from the metrics. Flagged for human review.

This exact setup gets printed every single day and if you get good at spotting it, you can make a ton of money. So here, this candle wicked below this low but closed above it. So the wick went below the low but the body is still in the range. This is exactly what you want to see. But there's one thing missing that will make this the perfect setup. What we want to see is for price to break this high. This will give you the highest probability setup for price reaching this high. So now that price broke this high, we move to a smaller time frame. So as you can see, price broke our high already on a higher time frame represented by this yellow line. Now we find a bullish fair value gap. Let price come back down to it. Enter here. Set your take-profit at the high of the candle on the higher time frame. Set your stop loss below the low. Easy winning trade. [Music]
