Verdict

Not backtestable — no mechanical strategy to test. Discretionary price-action strategy (wick-tap entry on 1-min ES/NQ) with no mechanical rule; relies on visual chart reading and subjective judgment of stop/target placement.

We only score videos that teach a rule-based strategy (a defined entry trigger, stop and exit a computer could follow). This one doesn't contain one, so there is nothing to backtest — we show no number rather than a made-up one.

If you're a trader, look at this. Indicator, candle with no top wick, price comes back up, taps it, dumps. Candle with no top wick, price comes up, taps it, boom. >> Okay, I've seen it now. Clearly, it's the 1-minute, it's no wicks. Just when price taps it, you enter and {quote} go and take profit. He's got the stop and the take profit in a very strange place. I don't know what his judgment is on that. I can see it's the swing high here, but let's build it. Lux Algo Quant, I'm there. All I got to do, we got the new charts here. I'm going to go to Quant and we're pretty much going to take a screenshot of what he's got here. And then I also, I guess we'll do an ATR-based stop loss take profit. That's fine. I'm just going to take a screenshot of that as well. I added both those screenshots to the chat. Right now, the model we're going to go with is GPT6 Soul. You can do any of these models as well. We're just going to do the recommended model. Quick prompt here, I said, "Build an indicator that identifies when there's no top or bottom wick from that candle with no top or bottom wick. Have a line that shoots across that has been untapped." So, we want to make sure there's untapped ones. Place a take profit stop loss basically with ATR, so we can adjust it. So, we'll send that and we'll let Quant build. All right, so we have our indicator in one prompt there with good detail. going to hide the Quant chat now. We can check this out. Actually, some decent trades today. There's a nice short signal. Hit take profit on the ATR. This one would have stopped out. I actually about to hit a take profit on this signal as well. So, very promising so far on ES at least. We can check maybe NQ and some of these other markets. Starting to see some repetitive stops be taken, but these are very short 1-minute trades. We definitely need to optimize that. Let's go take a look at the settings here. If I go up to the settings of the indicator, we can see, why you got a wick tolerance, so you can change out how many ticks you need, maximum untap levels shown. Let it added, and then we have the ATR. There's 2 to 1 right now. Not terrible, though. I'm actually a little bit more impressed than I was going to be. a want to try this out for free, just comment the word wick and I'll send you a link. Or you can go to QuantCharts, go up to the indicators tab, go to Lux Algo, and it's right there at the top. You just click it and add it to your chart.
