What happens next

Auto-backtest couldn't score this one: Meta-allocator framework for ranking and selecting among external candidate strategies; not a mechanical price-based trading rule itself.

It's been left for manual analysis — a hand-built backtest and verdict will follow.

Test a monthly NIFTY-options meta-allocator. At each month-end, use only the preceding 126 trading sessions of candidate strategies’ actual net returns to rank them by sample-shrunk risk-adjusted return, drawdown/recovery, gap/high-range performance, and same-day loss overlap. Require at least 60 closed trades; select no more than one strategy from a correlated payoff cluster; hold 25–40% cash when prior-session realized volatility is in its trailing top quartile. Respect each strategy’s documented capital limits. Do not substitute a generic indicator strategy or invent missing strategy histories. If you cannot backtest external strategy selection on actual candidate histories, return ‘NOT BACKTESTABLE.’
