How we tested it
We can't price individual stock options, so we tested the decider — the underlying directional edge: long the top gainer / short the top loser to 3:15, on 48 Nifty-50 stocks, 2 years.
But the premise is false: the day's biggest mover is a coin flip from 9:20 to close (46–47% win, ~0% average return), with a slight reversion drift. On a zero-edge signal, buying ATM options only adds the wide stock-option spread + theta + the ~35%/yr volatility tax — a guaranteed bleed. The '+₹1,237 Day 1' is a single filmed session.
